Wildlife Camera Trapping

Objectives:

• To introduce students to the concept of wildlife camera trapping as a method for studying biodiversity.
• To develop an understanding of the importance of biodiversity and its role in ecosystems.
• To promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills through data analysis and interpretation.
• To introduce nature video productions.

You can watch here how we set the cameras. We tried different spots in a forest close to a stream that runs close to our school.

We could observe and study some mammals and birds that live close to us, but we can not usually whatch them due to their night activity.
